Spider-Man Across the Spider-VerseSony Pictures Entertainment India announced on Thursday that their upcoming project Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse will be hitting the Indian theaters on June 1st. It will be a day earlier than its release in the USA movie theaters.

The first movie from this franchise set up a benchmark for the upcoming animated movies and the next one won’t be an exception. The trailer has impressed us a lot and some new Spideys will make the whole experience even better.

Shony Panjikaran, General Manager and Head of Sony Pictures Releasing International India said this to make Indian fans more excited and flabbergasted. “To fulfill this unprecedented demand in our market, we’ve decided to release the film a day prior, and again to reiterate in 10 languages”

The story will revolve around Miles Morales who is approached by his love interest Gwen Stacy to save every universe that has a Spiderman or a Spider persona.

But the most interesting part for the Indians will be Pavitr Prabhakar, our own Spiderman. He will be voiced by the Indian cricketer Shubman Gill and that is raising a wave of excitement among the fans.

The movie will be released in India in ten languages such as English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, and Bengali. This movie is also set over a year after the events of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

With time, more and more comic book characters are being alive on the screen, and from series like The Boys to animations like Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, we are living in a golden age of Comic Book movies.
