Eric Garcetti Shah Rukh KhanShubhi Mishra writes: It appears like US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti had a great time in Mumbai. The diplomat shared some of his experiences at Maximum City with his Twitter followers, which drew a lot of interest online. Garcetti did it all, from visiting Shah Rukh Khan at Mannat to dining at an Iranian eatery, and he had a great time doing it.

On his first day in Mumbai, Garcetti met with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. He also paid a visit to Mahatma Gandhi’s house in Mumbai, Mani Bhavan. He also looked through the records of Gandhi’s remarkable life.

Garcetti then paid a visit to the world-renowned Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). He ran across the cast of the Broadway musical ‘The Sound of Music’ at NMACC’s great theater.

Garcetti also visited and snapped with superstar Shah Rukh Khan at his Mannat house. He also met Mukesh Ambani, the billionaire businessman.

His schedule also included a visit to the Gateway of India. Garcetti also took a walking tour of Mumbai, stopping at a Hindu temple, a Muslim mosque, a Zoroastrian temple, and a Catholic institution that houses the Heras Institute Museum, which houses a world-class collection of Buddhist, Christian, Jain, and Shaivite sculptures.

The dignitary also stopped by an Iranian café for coffee and bun-maska and went to the Keneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue in Mumbai.

In a more tragic incident, he paid his condolences at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel’s 26/11 Memorial. The envoy also visited Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, and rode in a Mahindra Rise Electric Vehicle in South Mumbai.
