Her mother Sunita Kapoor shared her clip of the same. While she praised her daughter by commenting “So proud, such an honor” people don’t seem to agree to it

People started making fun of her fake accent when she began her speech with a ‘NAA MAAAS TEY’.
It seems as if folks could not digest the fact that she was addressed as – Hindi Cinema’s Biggest Star – Sonam Kapoor. Needless to say, Sonam’s filmography has not not been impressive till now. She started her career with a massive Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s flop Saawariya along side Ranbir Kapoor.
Later she ventured into many projects but none of those were praiseworthy. The only few hits of her career are ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ and ‘Neerja’. She was last seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘AK Vs AK’ as a guest appearance. Her next project is going to be ‘Blind’ by Shome
