Umaru and Pagal Nilavu strengthened the partnership even more and they were on their way to establishing an empire like never before. Nayakan reached TIME magazine’s all-time 100 movie list, Geetanjali was heartwarming and Anjali soon became an icon in the industry.
The best was yet to come and it arrived with Thalapathy. It was the last collaboration between the two and it was their zenith. From “Rakkamma Kaiya Thattu” to “Chinna Thayaval”, it was an album that set the benchmark for the industry.
