tuntari-reviewWhat is the film about?
The prophecy of a Muni leads to chain of events that tie Raju (Nara Rohit) and Siri. However there is a twist in the tale with new Raju (Kabir Dhuan Singh) emerging. What happens in the end, which Raju prophecy comes true is the basic story of the film.

How is Nara Rohith‘s performance?
There is nothing in the first half of the film which is any different from what the actor has been doing previously. He smilingly moves on from one scene to other and it stays that way till about three fourths of the film before something serious happens. The problem here is that he lacks the screen presence to carry that three fourths of the film.

tuntari-reviewDirection By Kumar Nagendra?
This is the third film of Kumar Nagendra. His execution in terms of shot selection and framing is good but the special ingredient required for making film successful is missing. It’s the emotions. Even when their is nothing happenings in terms of story the narrative has to be engaging that’s where he fails. The narrative of film is as flat as one could get. We do not care for any character at all. The love story feels hollow and lacks real emotion and connect.

tuntari-reviewLatha Hegde and others?
Latha Hegde is okay at best. There is nothing for her to do performance wise and in glamour aspect too she isn’t a shining example. The group of give friends led by Vennela Kishore is food and they do what’s necessary without going overboard. Kabir Singh Duhan is has limited screen time and is alright. The rest which includes comedian Ali, Shakalaka Shankar and Sanjay Swaroop are wasted.

tuntari-reviewMusic and other departments?
Music by Sai Karthik is poor. Background score is slightly better. Cinematography is good and editing is neat. Choreography of songs could have been better. Dialogues are okay.

tuntari-reviewHighlights?
Basic storyline
Fast screenplay
Interval

Drawbacks?
Main lead pair
Music
Weak narration

tuntari-reviewAlternative Take
Get a hero who has charming screen presence and can carry off a lazy slacker with ease and punch. A heroine like Hansika whom everyone can connect to. Music by hot sensation Anirudh. In short, the original Maan Karate. Sometimes an average film can be lifted by a good combination like this.
