What is the film about? Srirastu Subhamastu Review Script Analysis
Siri (Allu Sirish) loves Anu (Lavanya Tripathi) who is from a middle-class family. Siri’s (Allu Sirish) father hates middle-class people. How Siri changes the notion of his father and finally gets the girl, in the end, is what the film is all about.
How is Allu Sirish’s performance?
This has been said ad-nauseam but the fact is a lot of people are apprehensive about watching Allu Sirish. So does he manage to get over that part? The answer to this would be yes, by the end of the film he fit seamlessly into the overall film and doesn’t especially stick out like a sore thumb. The problem here comes from the fact that he fails to lift the film where it’s required with his acting example pre-climax sentiment block with his father. This is because he doesn’t have that acting chops in him. For the rest of the film, he is manageable because there are a number of other artists who cover it for him.
Direction By Parashuram? Srirastu Subhamastu Review Directorial Department
Parasuram is a commercial director. And like any commercial director he takes a routine story and tries to present it in a fresh manner. Unfortunately for the director, while his writing stands out he has been unable to deliver a complete film, a film which has engaging first and second half. Few of his films had superb first halves but they were so terrible post-intermission that they ended up being huge disappointments. The only exception here is Solo which was decent on both counts. The point here is more often than not he has failed to excite in the second half. With Srirastu Subamasthu he does an opposite.
The concentration clearly seems to be in giving the best for the second half of the film and it shows on screen. First half of the film is average at best with only Prabhas Sreenu working in the comedy department. Rest of it gets boring as it runs on predictable lines.
The real strength of the film lies in the second half and it’s where the film scores. The entertainment works and the drama, although hackneyed, comes at the right point. The screenplay here is good which is what ultimately keeps one engaged. As said above it’s the crucial performance of hero where it is needed the most the film fails. It fails to get the emotional drama to next level, which could have taken the overall film to a bigger level. In the end what we get is an okay first half and a fairly good second half minus the required emotions. There is entertainment and that’s what keeps the film going.
Lavanya Tripathi and others?
Lavanya Tripathi is good. She has a decent role and she comes up with a fine act. Nothing unexpected or memorable, though. Prakash Raj has a small role but it is very important to the overall proceedings. In the few scenes, he has, he makes his presence felt. Rao Ramesh has typical father characterization which gets normal with his routine act. Tanikella Bharani is alright. It is in the comedy department the film shines, Prabhas Sreenu and Ali-Subbaraju comedy track works out well.
Music and other departments? Srirastu Subhamastu Review Tech Analysis
Music by SS Thaman is good and adds value to the film. There are only three songs, though. However more than music, it’s the background score where Thaman gets brownie points, it is really good. Technically the film is slick and is on par with any biggie. The cinematography is superb and so are the production values. Editing is alright. Dialogues by Prasuram are a major highlight in the film.
Highlights? Srirastu Subhamastu Movie Review Good
Music and BGM
Drawbacks? Srirastu Subhamastu Movie Review Bad
Average first half
Flat emotions with no depth
It’s a routine film that has been made many times with the usual change of cast and crew. So if one were to have an alternative take on the given film, it would be to simply get a new hero who can act. He could elevate the drama and add a new dimension to the film which is missing currently.
Did I enjoy it? Srirastu Subhamastu Review Yes/No?
Yes, for most parts.
Will you recommend it? Srirastu Subhamastu Review Final Say
Yes, only if one doesn’t mind the routine plot.

Srirastu Subhamastu Review – Movie Background – How it all started?
Geetha Arts have always been associated with some top projects from the past forty years. Time and again they have given break to many heroines and have produced some cult hits with Chiranjeevi and many other mega heroes.
But things look a little bleak for them as they have an uphill task of delivering a super hit to their own scion Allu Sirish. For this, they have planned things cleverly and have roped Parasuram to direct their son for the film Srirastu Subhamastu.
Their planning took another step when they also roped Lavanya Tripathi as the female lead and Thaman as the music director. The film was in the making for quite some time now and finally the film is up for a release.
Sirish plays a happy go lucky youth in this film which is touted to be a youthful family entertainer. The first part was when the first look and teaser managed to get a good feedback for the film. One of the main things was that the look of Sirish which was appreciated all over.
Thanks to his team Sirish managed to give a good feel and the film backed it up with its interesting trailers. Also, the music of Thaman also worked in the favor. The film is a complete family drama and has some seasoned artists to boost the young pair.
Talk from the censors is that the film is filled with some emotional moments and may please the family audience. Lavanya is also on the success mode and her chemistry between the lead pair has been well appreciated.
To wrap things up, Allu Aravind took the film to another level by spending a bomb on the promotions and making sure that the film reaches huge number of the audience when it hit the screens. So things looking positive for the film and let’s hope that the young Allu scion makes an impressive comeback. Check this space for our Srirastu Subhamastu Review today.
