Savitri Review What is the film about?
Savitri is a tale of love and marriage. Boy falls in love with a girl and wants to marry where as girl wants to marry whomever the family selects. How this conflict gets a happy ending is what the film is about.

How is Nara Rohith’s performance?
Unlike his last release where Nara Rohit didn’t really click in the character that required good screen presence, he is fine here as he just helps take the story forward. He does his bit and that’s it. In terms of delivering dialogues he has done better.

Savitri Review Direction By Pavan Sadineni?
Pavan Sadineni made a breezy debut with the film Prema Ishq Kadhal. This film is completely opposite of that film in terms of tone yet certain sensibilities are retained. It is in the balancing act where he falters and delivers a film that is neither here nor there and ultimately ends up as boring. There is so much of filler content that when the film actually gets into the main plot in the end one doesn’t get connected with the dialogues off screen. They all feel forced and contrived and that is the film’s biggest falling. The story had potential but weak screenplay ruins it.

Savitri Review Nanditha Raj and others?
Nanditha is good like always. She doesn’t get much to emote though as her characterization is not fully evolved. All of a sudden there is a huge realization in the end which looks forced and she couldn’t do much in terms of acting to make us forget that. Murali Sharma has a decent but predictable role which he going about in his usual manner. It is same with Ajay, playing a protective family member. Ravi Babu’s role is half baked and doesn’t get the desired results. Dhanya Balakrishna is okay. Among comedians Sathya and Prabhas Sreenu hog the limelight and they shine. Satyam Rajesh is wasted.

Attack reviewMusic and other departments?
Music by Shravan is alright and so is the background score. Editing is fine. Cinematography is good, especially considering its small budget. Production values are good. Dialogues are good in parts.

Madhu Nandan-Savitri Review-DrawbacksHighlights?
Couple of songs
Entertainments in parts

Drawbacks?
Feels lengthy
Weak screenplay

Savitri ReviewAlternative Take
More sequences between hero and heroine along the road trip followed by similar scenes during the second half. All of these neatly tied to the final outburst of heroine that is present as it is.

Did I enjoy it?
Very few parts.

Will you recommend it?
No.
