What is ‘Sarocharu’ about?
Karthik (Ravi Teja) is a foot ball coach who meets Sandhya (Kajal) in Switzerland. Sandhya falls for him instantly and follows him to India. On the way, Ravi Teja narrates a past having married and is going to divorce with a girl Vasu (Richa). And in the later part, he reveals that his flash back is all false for which Sandhya feels cheated. Heart broken Sandhya agrees for marriage with Gautam (Nara Rohit), her relative. And finally what happens in this tale forms the rest of the story.
Is this a perfect Ravi Teja film?
This is an entirely different film for Ravi Teja. Unlike his previous movies in which he played crude comedy and mass action. He deals with subtle emotions in the movie. He delivered it well but audience may not connect well to his character.
How is Parusuram’s direction?
Parasuram is a protege of Puri Jagannadh and Bommarillu Bhaskar. All his movies so far reflects their style. And this movie is no different. He writes some excellent dialogues like Puri and connects with family emotions like Bhaskar. But the flows of events in all his movies seem to be same.
What about Kajal and Richa?
Kajal Agarwal plays a funky role in the Sandhya. As in every Parasuram’s movie, heroines gets a role with good scope of performance. She tried well to live up to the character but also seem to be over acting in some part. And the heroine Richa Gangopadhyay looked awful on screen. She totally looked out of shape and make up also seem to be not okay. She also had overreacted in her role.
What about the comedy and other actors?
Nara Rohit plays a small role as heroine’s Bava. He seem to have improved a lot acting wise. Chitram Srinu and Ms Narayana appeared in little roles.
How is Music, Songs and Dances?
Devi Sri Prasad’s music is okay and all the songs are well picturized. Dances seem to be pretty average.
How is the Cinematography?
Camera work by Vijay K Chakravarthi is good. There is no much technique or experimentations but the grading and picture quality is excellent and colorful.
What are the highlights?
1. Emotional drama

Any Drawbacks?
Parasuram always selects good subjects for his movies but lacks clarity in narrating them perfectly. The comedy part is too weak except MS Narayana, there are no other seasonal comedians too.
What about its box office prospects?
This will be any interesting question. However, very difficult to answer as it has to be seen how audience receive it. This is not usually the kind of Ravi Teja movie you expect. Also there is very low buzz for the movie which might damage its box office prospects.
Did I enjoy it?
Good intent, Output could have been handled better.
