Sairam Shankar in Romeo Telugu Movie Review
What is the film about?
Hero chances upon a girl who reminds of his past. What is the past and how he convinces the girl to be his girlfriend is what the film is all about.

How is Sairam Shankar’s performance?
The film was made long ago and was stuck in cans for a long time. Similarly Sairam Shankar has been stuck in a style, a body language right from his first film but he has still not come out of it. He is still the same like he was when he made his debut.

Gopi Ganesh in Romeo Telugu Movie Review
Direction By Gopi Ganesh?
Gopi Ganesh, formerly reported to be an Ad maker, makes his debut with the film. There are visual cues that showcase his expertise in the field but besides that he fails to make an engaging film. To spare him of some flak, the chosen subject idea is extremely difficult to execute and he fails at that. There are no scenes showing a mark as a director, he just goes through the motion without extracting any emotion on screen.

Adonika in Romeo Telugu Movie Review
Adonika and others?
As said above Romeo is a different subject idea, it contains only two primary characters. Sairam Shankar in the one of them and Adonika is the other. She has absolutely no chemistry with her co-star. On her own too she overacts and irritates throughout, the dialogues given and the dubbing at times simply too much to handle. Ravi Teja’s cameo is through voice on a phone and he is hilarious in the scenes used. Others like Nagababu, Pragathi, Subbaraju, Ali etc, also have restricted presence and do nothing to create an impact or be remembered acting wise.
Sunil Kashyap in Romeo Telugu Movie Review
Sunil Kashyap and other departments?
Music by Sunil Kashyap is decent. It is the music that helps bring some energy into the proceedings which otherwise goes on and on. Background music is not that effective though. Cinematography is cool and gives the film the perfect rom-com vibe. Editing should have been better. Dialogues by Puri Jagannadh are biggest disappointment and it’s the failure of dialogues that brings the whole film down as it was so much relying on it.

Romeo Telugu Movie Review highlights
Basic idea.
Short duration.

Lack of cohesive screenplay.
Zero chemistry between lead pair.

Alternative take:
Obviously the very first thing that comes to our mind in the dialogues, they need to have the dynamic quality the director is known for. Since the entire film is so reliant on dialogues excellent dialogues would automatically the movie an engaging one, although the irritation levels of heroine still needs to be curbed.

Did I enjoy it?

Will you recommend it?
No. Interestingly this is the third film today with a fresh and different concept but unfortunately it’s also the worse.
