What is the film Project Z about?
Kumar (Sundeep Kishan) accidentally stumbles upon a serial killer. What is the motive behind the killing and who is the killer, is what the film is all about?

How is Sundeep Kishan’s performance?
Sundeep Kishan is alright in the role of a cop. It is designed to suit his age which is a plus. It is a mellowed down version of his usual self. There is nothing over the top in his act which at times gives an impression that he is just another character and not lead. The actor’s voice is dubbed in Telugu, and that takes away a lot from overall engagement with the film.

Project Z Review, Project Z Telugu Movie Review, Ratings (Maayavan)Direction By CV Kumar?
CV Kumar, a producer previously debuts as director with Project Z. It is a difficult subject to execute and also a genre that doesn’t enjoy broad appeal. Keeping those things in mind, it can be said he has done a decent job.

The movie takes time to get going initially. It isn’t until we reach the pre-interval portion that things start to make some sense. Once we are in sync, it is a reasonably predictable watch. It becomes a cat and mouse chase game between the police and criminal after we know the core plot.

The director handles overall plot well, but it isn’t as engaging or thrilling as it could have been. On a positive side, it could have turned out to be a disastrous watch like a Sri Valli, but luckily that is also not the case. What we have is a film, that is far from a disaster but an average fare as a science-fiction thriller.

Right from the start of concentration on Rudra (Danial Balaji) till the revelation of the main plot in the second half, Project Z is engaging. The entire love track seems to be a forceful insertion into the story to get to the ending. The problem is too much explaining of the science and less thrilling elements. The thrills which are present in the second half are predictable for the genre. The climax will remind Telugu audience of a critically acclaimed romantic drama. Overall, if one doesn’t mind the genre and little boredom, they can give it a try.

Project Z Review, Project Z Telugu Movie Review, Ratings (Maayavan)Lavanya Tripathi and others?
Lavanya Tripathi has a different role than usual, but she offers nothing new regarding the performance. Danial Balaji is terrific in few scenes. Bagavati Perumal has done a neat job in the supporting role as police. Lastly, Jackie Shroff is perfect for his part in a small character.

Hyper Review, Hyper Movie Review, Hyper M9News Review, Hyper Web Ratings, Hyper Telugu Movie ReviewMusic and other departments?
Ghibran shows his worth as a composer through the background score. The cinematography is fine. Editing is patchy, and the unfinished works are visible in Telugu dubbing. The dialogues are alright.
