Screenplay is the King.
“A” Certified, 132 mins.
What is the film about?
Seenu (Sai Dharam Tej) loves a girl. The girl has a problem. How Seenu the lover solves the problem of the girl he loves and how Mysamma ( Jagapathi Babu) fits into this scheme of things is what basically the film is about.
How is Sai Dharam Tej’s performance?
For a first film hero Sai Dharam Tej has given a decent performance without any doubt. He has an ease in body language and delivers dialogues well although the voice needs to be worked on further. There are no big dances just glimpses of the capabilities are shown here. Also no emotional scenes are given to the hero so no scope in that area as well. There is a rawness in terms of looks but it goes well with the character here but it definitely needs improvement.
Direction by A.S.Ravi Kumar Chowdary?
AS Ravikumar Chowdhary returns to big screen after a very long gap. It is clear that the director has worked very hard to return with a fresh entertainer. More than the story it’s the screenplay that has given that feeling of freshness here. The first half especially has come out well and the interval bang is good. Screenplay becomes predictable in the second half but its fine as it engages. Climax could have been better though.
Regina Cassandra and Others performance?
Regina Cassandra plays a typical heroine character in the film. Everything happens for her but she has very little to do. Jagapathi Babu is once again given a good role and he is clearly enjoying it. His presence is a big plus for the film. Raghubabu is given a good role and he makes full use of it. Prabhas Seenu too shines in couple of scenes. Chandramohan, Jayaprakash Reddy, Hema and others are fine. They do their bit in providing the entertainment. Prakash Raj makes late entry but is very crucial to the story as entertainment revolves around him. He is good as usual.
Anup Rubens and others ?
Music by Anup Rubens is good. The background is good in most parts. Cinematography is good as is editing. Dialogues are neat and fit perfectly into the narrative. Choreography of songs is on predictable lines.
For the story the film had which is a very simple and predictable one, the director has done his best to come up with an engaging film. Could the climax be better? Yes it could be but the way it is, its okay.
Did I enjoy it?
Will you recommend it?
