Ram Nenu Sailaja ReviewWhat is the film about?
Nenu Sailaja is the story of Hari and Shailaja. The former falls in love with the later at a very early age but is not able to say it. When he eventually says it she rejects him. Why Shailaja takes that step and how Hari wins her in the end is what the film is about.

How is Ram’s performance?
Ram promised a change in attitude and kind of roles he has been playing so far but one needs it’s not entirely true here. It’s just a toned down version of his usual masala fare. There are few normal moments but overall character arc is similar to his previous films.

Kishore Tirumala Nenu Sailaja ReviewDirection By Kishore Tirumala?
This is the second film of Kishore after Second Hand. This film basically is a big scale up gradation for him from his debut but it comes at the cost of cutting the punch of the low budget fare. The moments are there but they lack the sharpness of his debut. Even overall story gets pretty routine as film progresses.

First half of the film is fine as those small moments provide some genuine fun. Second half takes a predictable turn once hero reaches village and it’s a downhill from that point. However things do pick up in the end with the emotions working out decently. Overall it is not the must watch film that one expected but surely it is an easy one time watch when at leisure

Keerthi Suresh Nenu Sailaja ReviewKeerthi Suresh and others?
Keerthi Suresh looks good and for most of the film has to just stare silently. She does that part well. Satyaraj is once again given a relatable character and he is fine in it. There are no known comedians in the film, it’s a department that has been left to villain Pradeep Rawat for a change. While the change is good, it hasn’t clicked the way it was planned to. Rohini in brief part is good and so are the other character artists even with very limited presence. Hero Prince is wasted.

Devi Sri Prasad Nenu Sailaja ReviewMusic and other departments?
Music of the film given by Devi Sri Prasad is very good. Background score is not up to the mark and appears to be rehash of previous works. Cinematography is decent which is the case with editing. Choreography of songs is alright. Dialogues are good and have fresh ring to it.

Highlights Nenu Sailaja ReviewHighlights?
Situational humor
First half
Pre climax and climax

Drawbacks?
Predictable story
Second half after first song till Pre climax
Routine sentiment

Drawbacks Nenu Sailaja ReviewAlternative Take
The film’s basic story is already done to death. Efforts had been made only in terms of dialogues, if it was extended to the family drama in similar way by making use of brother in law character, maybe we could have had far more engaging film.

Did I enjoy it?
Yes for its first half and climax.

Will you recommend it?
Yes
