malupu-reviewWhat is the film about?
Saga (Aadi) is a typical middle class guy in a rich friends circle. How a single incident changes the lives of all the friends is what the film is all about.

How is Aadhi’s performance?
Aadi has strong intense personality. Here he plays something different from his usual which is neatly done. But once again it’s his intense act that shines. He is good in action and drama scenes and enacts those sequences convincingly.

Sathya Prabhas PinisettyDirection By Sathya Prabhas Pinisetty?
Direction by Sathya is decent. He executes the important scenes well but he is let down by the basic story of the film and the final twist which feels completely unnecessary and derails the whole narrative build until that point. The climax that follows is a drag. The real meat of the film lies in the second half till pre climax and those sequences do manage to engage.

malupu-reviewNikki Galrani and others?
Nikki Galrani as the modern vivacious girl is good. It’s not her glamour but her work which is noticed here. On the flipside it’s a short role. The same is the case with many other actors in te film who don’t have fully developed roles but have one or two solid scenes to their credit be it Richa Pallod, Mithun Chakraborthy, Pasupathy or Harish Uttaman. They all have something to show only its short lived.

Music-Director-movie-reviewMusic and other departments?
Music by Prasan Praveen Shyam is poor with no song registering. The background score is comparatively better. Cinematography is good and so is editing. Dialogues in dubbing are okay.

malupu-reviewAlternative Take
An alternative take on the film would be to keep the film flowing in gray area of moral compass of human beings, the sudden unexpected twist was unnecessary.
