Lakshmi's NTR Review, Lakshmi's NTR Movie Review RatingsWhat Is the Film About?
Lakshmi’s NTR begins after TDP’s Defeat in 1989 Elections. When NTR is alone deserted by everyone after the defeat, Lakshmi Parvathi (Yagna Shetty) enters his life to write his Biography. She gets close to NTR in his loneliness and they get married. TDP comes to Power in 1994 with a landslide victory. Chandrababu Naidu who is waiting for the right moment to snatch TDP poisons the minds of the family and pull out a coup using very innocent and honest Lakshmi Pravathi as shown by RGV. NTR gets depressed with this humiliation and passes away is all about Lakshmi’s NTR.

Artists Performance?
Vijay Kumar who played NTR in the movie is just unbearable with too much of melodrama and forced dialogues. Yagna Shetty performs well as Lakshmi Parvathi and she is the only known face in the film. Sri Tej is seen as Chandrababu Naidu also fits the bills and does well. The other characters just reflect the sorrow state of Ram Gopal Varma’s career. Even some decent Drama Companies will not consider them for their plays.

Lakshmi's NTR Review, Lakshmi's NTR Movie Review RatingsDirection by RGV?
Lakshmi’s NTR is the only film of Ram Gopal Varma which has made some buzz after Rakta Charita. Both for non-cinematic reasons. This movie also did not help the cause of Ram Gopal Varma as a filmmaker. Firstly, the choice of the actors except for Yagna Shetty and Sri Tej are horrible. It is a cheap attempt to make a product at low cost and market it using the Political Conditions in the State. RGV also has a revenge angle in this after he is rejected NTR Biopic chance by Balakrishna. That is evident from the fact that he put a Thanks Card for Balayya before the film.

Coming to the film, the makers have admitted that it is made based on a book written by Lakshmi Parvathi. And it is bankrolled by a YSR Congress Leader. That pretty much sums up the intention of the film. The first half of the film is all about how Lakshmi Parvathi enters NTR’s life and gets married. One will be puzzled to see how she left her husband and son to get married to NTR and that too without any differences with her first husband as portrayed by Ram Gopal Varma. We can also see NTR family as worthless and cruel and Chandrababu trying to poison their minds. The Snake BGM that comes whenever Chandrababu flashes on the screens is another motive to be noted. The first half has been disappointing.

The Second Half is mostly about how Chandrababu and Ramoji Rao plotted to kill the image of NTR using an innocent woman like Lakshmi Parvathi (Of course Lakshmi Parvathi is innocent for Lakshmi Parvathi in her Book). The film is so pro-Lakshmi Parvathi that it has ignored some Public admissions of Lakshmi Parvathi in helping someone in politics but claiming they betrayed her. There are a couple of moments which interests in the second half but once again loses steam. The second half is a bit better than the first half on cinematic terms. Basically, Lakshmi’s NTR is the Biopic of Lakshmi Parvathi made by herself to help the Political Ambitions of the Opposition against Chandrababu Naidu.

Lakshmi's NTR Review, Lakshmi's NTR Movie Review RatingsMusic and Other Departments?
Kalyani Malik is the sole technician who made some impression in the film. His background score suits the Propaganda at places. Songs even with visuals are disappointing. Camera Work is Pretty Ordinary. Editing is Poor. Ram Gopal Varma sets a new low with the making standards for the most hyped project.

Lakshmi's NTR Review, Lakshmi's NTR Movie Review RatingsAlternative Take
The movie would have been appealing if RGV tries to be equidistant from Lakshmi Parvathi and Chandrababu Naidu. By taking her side, RGV deviated from history and placed himself as a tool for the Political Propaganda of the Opposition. By bringing a disastrous artist like Vijay Kumar to play NTR and mocking with some dance moves and forced dialogues, he did not even show respect on NTR in the so-called NTR’s Story.

Lakshmis NTR Review Ratings

– Lakshmi’s NTR ends after Babu taking the lead for the party. Most of the movie shows Lakshmi Parvathi is a very honest innocent person but Babu and NTR kids are very cruel. Review shortly.

– Movie enters Viceroy episode, nearing the end.

– Second half started. NTR marries Lakshmi Parvathi. Again, Chandrababu and NTR children are being shown as very bad people who hate very honest and innocent Lakshmi Parvathi for no reason.

– NTR publicly announces his marriage decision at Major Chandrakanth function in Tirupati. Interval.

– NTR decided to marry Lakshmi Parvathi, inform his family members. Lakshmi Parvathi despite having a husband with no differences and a kid says NTR and his happiness is important for her, so agrees to marry NTR. This looks very unconvincing, the way it is shown.

– Yagna Shetty as Lakshmi Parvathi is a decent choice but it is very difficult to watch on-screen NTR. Right from his makeup to the dialogue delivery everything looks very forced.

– Chandrababu along with all NTR children are being shown as bad people while Lakshmi Parvathi is very innocent and extremely honest.

– NTR is sitting all alone at home. Lakshmi Parvathi continues to motivate him to get the power back. She also convinced him to do a movie for Mohan Babu.

– Lakshmi Parvathi motivating NTR who lost power with few inspirational dialogues.

– Lakshmi Parvathi enters NTR’s home as a big fan to write his biography.

– Lakshmi’s NTR show started. ‘Special Thanks to Balakrishna’ in title cards.

Preview: Lakshmi’s NTR

After all the tussle with the Central Board of Investigation and tall claims that the business of his film has been extraordinary, the controversial ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ is here for us to watch. It’s RGV’s game plan right away on the surface but we know the real players are different.

Actually speaking, the content that would be shown in the film is a known thing and the vendetta has been very clear. To be specific, this isn’t a biopic on legendary NTR’s life but a phase in his life that was dramatized to tell it from Lakshmi Parvathi’s perspective.

In fact, every promo was about mudslinging on a few characters and whitewashing only one person, Lakshmi Parvati. The promos gave the implication that the content is just what we have seen in the promos and nothing more to see in the movie.

When neutral audiences have no interest in the movie and when the fans of NTR and YSR will probably keep themselves away as they have their own reasons for doing so, only something like a real miracle can save the movie.

With disaster fate written all over it, it’s time to know if RGV really has something interesting and intriguing other than the promo material to tell the audiences? Stay tuned for ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ review from our mirchi9 team.
