What is “Krrish 3” about?
Krrish 3 is a superhero film and like every superhero film Krrish 3 also deals with superhero saving the world with his super powers. The world faces a threat in the form of Kaal and Krrish is the only person who can save them. How Krrish saves them and his family in the process is what the film is all about.
How is Hrithik Roshan?
Hrithik Roshan has three different roles in the film. There is Rohit the father, Krrish the husband and finally Krrish the superhero. The actor differentiates each character well and brings life to those roles. There is nothing to comment about the performance of the actor in the film, he is fine but at times as super hero the actor seems to forget that one needs to bring fun to the part as well rather than being serious and earnest all time. If there is a problem then this is it.
How is Rakesh Roshan’s direction?
The veteran director is in fine form in terms of mounting the film. It is grand and has a story that deserves a grand scale. However the director along with his team of writers has completely forgotten the entertainment aspect of the film. The film goes on and on in a serious tone at a slow pace. The addition of romance and family portions at places makes things only worse and they bring the momentum built up to those points to a screeching halt.
Even the grand scale of things fails to evoke that feeling as it has a seen many times before kind of feel to it. In the end the one feels underwhelmed after all said and done and this is the film’s biggest failing considering the amount of time and money invested in the project.
What about Priyanka Chopra, Kangana and others ?
Priyanka Chopra has small role in the larger scheme of things. She does her part well. But it is Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut who have the meatier roles. They do the best they can to make the roles engaging and memorable. Among the two Vivek Oberoi is clearly the better one and he manages to leave a mark by the end.
How is Music, Songs and Dances and other departments?
Music is below par substandard for such a big film. Rajesh Roshan has given really poor music, in fact calling it poor would be an understatement. Background music by Saleem – Suleman is fantastic though and makes up for the shortcomings of the actual music. Editing is smooth during the normal sequences but poor when the action takes place or involves SFX. Cinematography is very good as is expected from such a big production.
How is the dubbing and graphics?
Dubbing in Telugu is fine. There aren’t many cringe worthy moments which should be enough to say how well it has been taken care off.
The same can’t be said about the graphics which are inconsistent to put it bluntly. There are moments where the graphics are truly amazing and similarly there are moments when it looks like almost a B-grade affair. What makes the matter worse is the lack of imagination from the makers which makes everything that we see on the screen a clone of something else we have already seen.

What about its box office prospects?
Krrish is a huge brand among the kids and families. With Diwali holidays to commence the film will find takers initially and rake in some good money. Once the holidays are over it would see a steep fall as the film lacks in repeat value.
