nani-krishnagaadi-veera-premagadha-movie-reviewWhat is the film about?
Krishna (Nani) loves Mahalakahmi (Mehreen) but is unable to marry her as he is extremely fearful guy and absolutely afraid of her faction family. One day he gets a chance to marry her. How he gets the chance and what happens next is what the film is all about.

How is Nani’s performance?
Once again Nani puts to use his comic timing in a role that suits him perfectly well. It’s the role where half if the battle is won as one is engaged to it from the beginning. He also does his usual emotional bits as well to good effect.

krishnagaadi-veera-premagadha-movie-reviewDirection By Hanu Raghavapudi?
In his debut film Hanu Raghavapudi has shown remarkable talent in terms of direction and execution. It’s the screenplay where he falters. This time it’s better than his debut but it also follows a similar paradigm and almost threatens to end up on similar lines. Lucky for him this is a different film, different setup and the end result too is a just a little different.

The first half of the film is fine and keeps the balance between comedy and drama well. In the second half the narrative stagnates till a point before it is all nearly rounded up in the climax. Couple of songs were really unnecessary. Overall Hanu Raghavapudi impresses again and for sure leaves a mark.

krishnagaadi-veera-premagadha-movie-reviewMehrene Kaur Peerzada and others?
Mehreen looks good and performs within the scope given to her. The film has number of characters coming in and out. Usually such characters fail to make impact but since they all get at least one scene to shine one remembers them. From Annapurna to Sampath to Murali Sharma everyone has that one scene to remember. Brahmaji, Prabhas Seenu, Satyam Rajesh and Prudhvi handle the comedy well at different points with good impact.

krishnagaadi-veera-premagadha-movie-reviewMusic and other departments?
Music for the film given by Vishal Chandrasekhar is just about alright. The background score is better with one hook line especially being used pretty well. Technically the film is sick with good cinematography. Editing as usual is a problem, the pace slackens for stretches. Dialogues are good.
