What is the film about?Jyo Achyutananda Review Script
The film is the story of two brothers who fall in love with the same girl. What happens to them over a period of time, how the relationship evolves, is what the film is all about.
How is Nara Rohit and Naga Shourya’s performances?
Nara Rohit is again aptly cast as the big brother. Apart from his bulky frame, everything else is fine with the act. He has that big brotherly affection and also the ego of big brother. Both are used properly and Nara Rohit conveys them easily. The film requires Naga Shaurya to act normal and casually without going overboard. He fits the character perfectly and plays as per requirement with great ease and simplicity that’s needed. Its an act that grows and its effect can be seen only towards the end where the emotions are felt. More than the actor, director deserves the credit for carefully building the character.
Direction By Srininvas Avasarla?Jyo Achyutananda Review Directorial Dept
Srinivas Avasarala made good debut with the film Oohalu Gusa Gusalade. The first half of that film especially was brilliant, the director continues the same form here as well, although the freshness that was present in the first outing is missing here.
First half of the film flows smoothly without any issues with good screenplay. Its done in such casual and day to day manner-like that one might think there is nothing happening actually. But clearly the characters are growing and it can felt when the interval happens with all that drama.
The problem crops up in the second half when director follows similar method of first half of build that emotion for climax. It feels as if a different film is running in the second half. Also its not as smooth as the first half and few sequences feels forced into the narrative just to keep the fun element going. Further, the character Regina and her ambitions aren’t clearly etched. The “plan” of her in the end to get the desired result feels contrived.
Still despite those few downer the climax works because its clear the lead actors believe in the characters they are playing. The emotion is generated in those final moments and that’s where the film scores. Overall Jyo Achyutananda is a fine film and further solidifies Srinivas Avasarala forte as director.
Regina Cassandra and others?
Regina Cassandra is reliable and is a perfect foil in the relationship between the brothers. It’s her performance that does the talking rather than glamour show. Apart from these three lead actors others have a very limited role and scope.
Music and other departments?Jyo Achyutananda Review Tech Dept.Music for the film composed by Kalyan Koduri is apt for the film. The background music also goes in similar vein. Cinematography is decent. Editing is good. The film moves at a steady pace and is very easy on the eyes. Dialogues are situation but superb. It carries the mark of the director.

Drawbacks?Jyo Achyutananda Bad
Drags in second half
In the second half, the whole Regina Cassandra track could be rewritten to make the proceedings more interesting.
