Jump Jilani Review
What is “Jump Jilani” about?
The film tells the story of Sattibabu (Allari Naresh) who is holding onto his ancestral property, a hotel. Everything in his life revolves around this hotel. His lover, his twin brother, his cousin, everyone are related to the hotel one way or the other. What happens when some people try to forcefully take over this hotel and how each individual overcome their problem in the end in typical filmy style is the overall storyline of the film.

How is Allari Naresh performance?
Allari Naresh is in his elements as one would expect. Its a typically predictable performance with nothing new to show or say. Since its a double role act it must be said that he manages to show difference through dressing more than acting.

Direction by E Satti Babu?
Jump Jillani is a remake of successful Tamil film and few minutes into the film anyone cued in with remakes could guess it based on the story. The problem here with this remake is it lacks the energy of the original and freshness in execution. It feels as if the director is simply going through motions executing the remake. Still the content and few gags here and their hold us through the duration. With better direction the film could have been clearly much more fun.

Jump Jilani Review
Isha Chawla, Swathi Deekshit and other artists performance?
Although limited in screentime every character in the film gets something to act and have a proper defined role. Its another matter they Gail to create the right impact. Isha Chawla isn’t just restricted to songs although she too has a short role overall. She overacts in that limited space. Swathi Deekshit playing Ganga has even less role but is well cast for the part. Apart from them there are a number of character artists in the film ranging from Posani to Jayaprakash Reddy to Rao Ramesh. Everyone does comedy in their own style and evoke laughter at few moments. Tagubotu Ramesh even in a very brief appearance makes an impression. Kota Srinivas Rao does the elderly act this time with less comedy.

Jump Jilani Review
How is Vijay Ebenezer’s Music?
Music by Vijay Ebenezer is poor and the placement of songs makes thing even worse. Background score doesn’t help the cause either. Cinematography is decent in parts but poor overall. Editing should have been much better.

Jump Jilani Review
Highlights?
Few comedy moments and punches.
Pulivendula episode in second half beginning.

Drawbacks?
Muddled screenplay.
Flat narration.
Songs and it’s placement.

Jump Jilani Review
What about the box office performance of the film?
Allari Naresh is going through a rough patch at the box office. Normally this film could have fared much better but in the current form it looks highly unlikely that Allari Naresh can salvage this at the box office.

Did I enjoy it?
Only small parts.

Will you recommend it?
No.
