Sai Dharam TejWhat Is the Film About?
Teja (Sai Dharam Tej) is a software employee. His company becomes a role model to be emulated by everyone. What happens when Nanda Kishore (Nassar), the owner of the company commits suicide? How Teja finds out the real culprit and why does he turn into Dharma Bhai is what the movie is all about?

How Is Sai Dharam Tej’s Performance?
Sai Dharam Tej is shown at his casual best. The dressing and styling are neat. However, when it comes to acting, there is no real improvement from him. Also, too much imitation of Chiranjeevi takes the focus away from what he does. After some gap, he shows best moves in Inttelligent. The action parts are also well done. If only there were a similar impact with acting.

director-vv-vinayakDirection by VV Vinayak?
VV Vinayak has been a master director for a long time when it comes to making commercial entertainers with a sharp screenplay. The narration is filled with entertainment and also heroism that the audience love. That is the reason why he became a brand and others used to follow his style. Unfortunately, the director has been out of form for a long time and in Inttelligent he has come with his least memorable and most boring outing.

The problem with Inttelligent is that it fails on all the essential counts that make Vinayak movie tick. The film is found short on comedy, and heroism and the narrative are dull and unexciting. The comedy blocks lack punch right from the beginning. There are only a few dialogues that show spark or the actual potential. But in the end, we are left with what could have been.

The proceedings in the second half have zero engaging factor working in its favor. A dullness is felt throughout as if the director is just going through motions to wrap the movie in a hurry. No effort seems to be made to make the going on engaging. Things don’t change even at the end. The irony can’t be lost on the title of the movie here.

Forget the actor here; if one is a fan of the Vinayak brand of entertainment, they are in for a huge disappointment.

Lavanya TripathiLavanya Tripathy and Others?
Lavanya Tripathi has a nothing sort of role, and it is what the heroines usually get in big commercial movies. So, that doesn’t really come as a surprise. What surprises is how poor she is in dances. Glamor wise it is one of the best outings for the actress. There are many comedians in the movie, but barring Sapthagiri, and a brief glimpse of Prudhvi, no one else leave an impact. Brahmanandam is utterly wasted. The villain gang clinically does their usual.

Music Director ThamanMusic and Other Departments?
SS Thaman who is shining off late in various movies is at his weakest here. The energetic mojo goes missing in the songs as well as music. The cinematography is fine. Editing could have been better. The dialogues occasionally shine with witty punches.

Comedian-PrudhviHighlights?
Two songs
Very few comedy scenes

Drawbacks?
Screenplay
Story
Zero high moments

Posani-Krishna-MuraliAlternative Take
The same film made by VV Vinayak a decade ago would have had a far better output. An alternative take would be to bring back that director.

Sai Dharam Tej has been struggling with back to back flops since his ‘Thikka’ release and nothing seems to be working for him, recently. With four flops in the backdrop, ‘Inttelligent‘ has become a crucial movie for him, right now.

However, he is coming in the combination of director V.V. Vinayak who has delivered a massive hit with ‘Khaidi No: 150’ with Chiranjeevi. But, the content of the teaser and the trailer looked outdated. Nevertheless, one can bank upon the combination of the director with the writer, Akula Siva.

Here, Sai Dharam Tej has another negative point in the form of music director SS Thaman. The three movies that came in their combination had been flops. This is the fourth movie in their combo. Will this film break the myth that theirs is a flop combination?

This is a typical movie that is aimed at a section of audiences for whom the entertainment factor would work big time. So, if the entertainment clicks and also if the songs will gel well with the flow, the movie might turn out to be a hit.

A hit is a must for Sai Dharam Tej at this juncture. Stay tuned for our genuine Intteligent review. Coming soon.
