Hum-Tum-Maneesh-Simran-Chou
What is “Hum Tum ” about?
Hum Tum is a simple, predictable love story told from the perspective of a girl. She sees a guy, falls in love and how she wins the love is what the film is all about.

How is Hero’s performance?
Manish really has nothing to perform in the film. All he has to do is just be present and say his lines whenever necessary. The few scenes that have scope are also wasted by him.

Hum-Tum-Director-Ram-BhimanWhat about Ram Bhimana’s direction?
Direction by newcomer Ram Bhimana is poor. He relies on the age old formula collage jokes that fall flat almost all throughout the film. There is no real story in the film as well. He relies purely on the comedy and small moments to take the film forward but the juvenile humor and screenplay does nothing to entice the viewers and in the end, this poor handling creates mockery of the possible little bit of emotions as well.

Hum-Tum-Simran-ChoudaryOther artists performance?
Simran playing heroine in the film gets a film that revolves all around her. She tries her best but her unremarkable screen presence hurts the film. She is decent at best in few sequences if one were to be extremely lenient on her. We have a bunch of newcomers both male and female playing the college students. All they have to do is mouth silly lines which they do with glee. There are a number of veteran comic actors like the late Dharmavarapu Subrahmanium and AVS along with MS Narayana. All they do however is play the stereotypes that we have seen them play umpteen number of times.

Hum-Tum-Music-Director-MahathiHow is Music, Songs and other departments?
Mahathi tries hard to bring soul in the melodies but all that we feel is how hard he tries to get that melody across rather than the actual melody. Cinematography and editing is patchy. Choreography of songs is standard variety that we have seen countless times before
