D for Dopidi reviewWhat is the film all about?
Four friends under different tiring circumstances come to a conclusion that robbing a bank would solve all their problems and they lock a bank. What happens in the bank and did they succeed in robbing the bank and how did they end up finally is what the film is all about.

How about lead actors performances?
The four friends are given equally exciting characters. It was now up to the actors to show their promise but the most they could do is not let some good lines go waste. Together Varun Sandesh, Sandeep Kishan, Naveen and Rakesh do enough and create enough chemistry that they get the punches right few times. Among the four Rakesh is highlighted courtesy his character and few hilarious situations that are centered on him, nothing to do with his performance though.

D For Dopidi reviewHow is Siraj Kalla’s direction?
Siraj Kalla not only directs the film but also provides the story, screenplay and dialogues. Siraj fails as a screenplay writer as he doesn’t engage us throughout the film but he shines as a dialogue writer as it is the dialogues that keep us hooked in whatever way possible during phases. Lack of a strong sustenance point and silliness that creeps in time and again spoils the film.

D For Dopidi reviewWhat about Tanikella Bharani and others?
Tanikella Bharani has a very hilarious role that is not right in your face. The actor does a nice job with it. Director Deva Katta too plays an important role in the film and he manages to make an impression with his commanding presence. Comedians Prudhvi and Fish Venkat have short but hilariously designed role that suit then perfectly well which they perform with effortless ease. Rishi Muvva as Chevulapilli is a surprise and positive find. Voice over by Nani is superb.

Music and other departments?
There are no songs in the film but the background score makes up for it as it’s used well throughout. Cinematography is fine where as the editing is good, it helps in making the film appear faster than it actually is.

What about its box office prospects?
The film has been promoted heavily and has faces that well known among the youth to whom it has been targeted at. Still there is a no guarantee on its success and it would require excellent talk among the public to sustain as its already releasing under competition and will have to face competition each week.

Did I enjoy it?
Yes, partially.

Will you recommend it?
