NithiinWhat Is the Film About?
Bheeshma Organic and Field Science are rival companies in the field of agriculture. Bheeshma (Anantha Nag) is looking for a true heir, and he accidentally stumbles upon Bheeshma (Nithiin). Can the young Bheeshma prove his worth is what the movie is all about?

How Chitra (Rashmika Mandanna) becomes a catalyst in Bheeshma (Nithiin) reaching the CEO position is the critical part of the core plot.

How Is Nithiin’s Performance?
Nithiin is superb in a role tailor-made for him. As usual, no heavy-duty action is required, and all the actor has to do is be confident, develop chemistry and deliver the needed with timing. It is simple to say, but it still has to be pulled off with ease, and that is where Nithiin succeeds.

The comic timing adds to the screen presence of Nithiin. He has improved significantly in romantic portions, which we have mentioned previously, as well. Nithiin maintains the same here whenever required. Bheeshma is a star turn for the actor, and he makes it count.

VenkyDirection by Venky?
Venky Kudumula made his debut with the terrific entertainer Chalo. The storyline was wafer-thin, but he managed to pull it off with his fresh take and writing. With Bheeshma, it is the same all over again from Venky Kudumula.

Right from the beginning, we know where the movie is headed. If one has seen the theatrical trailer, it will give a much better idea. It will also add the impression of a routine outing on the way. While Bheeshma is indeed routine, the ‘routine’ elements are freshly packaged.

The entertainment (via comedy) is the adhesive which holds the whole thing together. It is a continuous flowing glue which binds the regular elements that appear intermittently. It might not be rip-roaring hilarious (a couple of blocks are, though), but the ‘entertainment’ never stops or bores. It is at the same level, in the first and second half.

The narrative gets a bit rushed towards the end. The predictability makes it a little bit weak further. But the undercurrent humour helps it stand its feet and not entirely tank.

Overall, Bheeshma is the kind of film where entertainment overrides everything else. It is a pucca commercial entertainer where if one connects, they are in for a joyride. If one doesn’t, they won’t get what the fuss is all about? It is all simple as that. Which side one finds themselves determines the eventual enjoyment. If entertainment is all you want, go and give Bheeshma a try.

Rashmika-MandannaRashmika Mandanna and Others?
Rashmika Mandanna is presented neatly and simply with no over the top-ness attached to it. Remember Chalo or the recent Sarileru Neekevvaru, where the actress overacted to the hilt? Rashmika is presented in a way that is a million miles away from them.

Vennela Kishore and Nithiin’s comedy has worked out well. Together they bring the house down in many places. Simple scenes are elevated due to their timing. They play a significant part is engaging the audience throughout.

Hebah Patel gets a small role, and she is okay in it. Raghu Babu and Brahmaji have brief parts, but they have a scene or two that lifts the narrative with the timing. Sampath has been used effectively, especially in the first half. Jissu Sengupta could have been utilized better, although there is nothing to complain. The dubbing adds to the impact.

At Nartanasala Review, At Nartanasala Movie Review, RatingsMusic and Other Departments?
Music by Mahati Swara Sagar is a big asset to the movie. The director has once again got the best out of the young musician. There are limited songs, but they have been placed and shot well. The cinematography gives the movie a rich and trendy look. Along with the set design, it provides a fresh feel, visually. The editing is smooth and gives the film a racy feel. The writing is superb for a commercial entertainer, as mentioned previously.

Alternative Take
The core premise and CEO angle could have been worked out better thematically if the villain angle is seriously taken. It would give the movie a different dimension to the current version, which only cares about entertainment.
