Bhai-ReviEW
What is “Bhai” about?
Bhai is the story of a henchman of a mafia don (David) who is send on a mission to assassinate an under cop. Vijay (Nagarjuna) gets implicated in wrong way for the wrong doing of his father which he doesn’t know. Circumstances force them to separate. Merging of these plots is the overall story of the film Bhai.

There are other threads involving sons of Don, James (Sonu Sood) and Tony (Ajay), who want to prove their worth and finally there is Radhika (Richa) who wants to get married.

How is Nagarjuna?
Akkineni Nagarjuna just sleepwalks through the movie. He has done these kind of roles in the past with great charm but here it has a repetitive feel and lacks depth. All the actor has to do in the film is walk into the frame bash the goon and mouth some cool lines. As usual physically he looks so good despite being over fifty years of age. There is nothing much to expect from dances anyway. After trying the Rayalaseema accent in Ragada the actor goes for a Telangana accent here. He is better when compared to Ragada in terms of getting the accent right, however it does look forced at times.

VeeraBADRAM-Bhai-movie-Revi
How is Veeru Veerabhadram’s direction?
Much was expected from director Veerabhdram Chowdhary as he is a upcoming fresh director devoid of any trappings. But one must say the director has disappointed with his third outing. The storylines of his previous films too weren’t any great but the director presented them in a very fresh manner. Here the screenplay seems very dated and so are the jokes which have gone way past their expiry date. First half of the film is absolute bore. Barring a small episode involving Brahmanandam even the second half goes on a similar predictable line without any tension at all.

Richa-Bhai-Review
What about Richa, Brahmanandam and others ?
The film has really nothing to offer from Richa as she is basically relegated to only songs. So that takes care of all the female characters in the film. Then there are Ashish Vidhyarthi and Sonu Sood who play Don for an umpteenth time again. Ashish Vidhyarthi seems to be bored as hell, Sonu Sood tries his best to infuse life now and then but even he can do only so much when there is no help from the script.
Nagineedu, Jayaprakash Reddy, Sayaji Shinde etc do their routine as is expected from them. There are a number of comedians but none manage to leave a mark barring Brahmandam. Even his character and comedy is highlighted only because of the overall poorness all around him.

Bhai-ReviEW
How is Music, Songs and Dances and other departments?
Music is alright with a couple of good numbers, however the picturization leaves a lot to be desired. Devi Sri Prasad however gives a better background score once again. With Nagarjuna as hero one can’t expect better dances and that is the case here as well. Cinematography is fine and editing is iffy at many times.

Brahmanandam-Bhai-Review
Highlights?
1.Few dialogues
2.Brahmanandam in second half

Drawbacks?
1.Poor story
2.Predictable narration

Bhai-ReviEW
What about its box office prospects?
Akkineni Nagarjuna might have salvaged a similar film in an earlier time and age on his side but now at this age it looks a difficult task for him. There are no big films releasing for another two weeks and that could have been a benefit to the film had it had at least fresh content to speak off. Now even with open space the film might find it hard to survive.
