What is “Athadu Aame O Scooter ” about?
Govinda Raju (Vennela Kishore) B.A. pass from Bhimavaram kills his time enjoying with his friends without taking any family responsibilities. Looking at him jobless from years his uncle decides to marry his daughter to a software employee. Govinda Raju makes two challenges with his uncle, first one is he will marry a beautiful girl before his cousin gets married and shifts his base to Hyderabad. Govinda Raju takes help of his buddy Ramesh (Thagubothu Ramesh) to find a perfect match for him. What is the second challenge Govinda Raju made with his uncle? Did Govinda Raju find a beautiful girl and get married or not? What problems he faced to win the challenges? forms rest of the story.
How is Vennela Kishore?
Vennela Kishore has put in his maximum effort to fill the hero shoes in this movie. He was good in few emotional scenes and his comedy was fine but he couldn’t pull off the romantic track with heroine. It was hard to watch Vennela Kishore doing comedy for more than two plus hours I think he still has time to carry a film totally on his shoulders.
How is Mohana Lakshman Gangarapu’s direction?
Debutante director Gangarapu Lakshman clearly showed that he lacks experience in film making. His direction skills are very poor, he could not generate any interest for an audience to sit in theater. He made audience search for comedy in comic film.
What about Priyanka Chabra,Thagubothu Ramesh and others ?
Heroine Priyanka Chabra knows only one expression that is ‘Smile’, but she gives a good visual treat of her beauty with skin show doing justice to her paycheck. Thagubothu Ramesh managed to bring little entertainment in the movie with his comedy, he had almost equal number of scenes with Vennela Kishore and he showed his upper hand over hero in every scene they acted together. Comedian Dhanraj made his presences felt with his comedy too.
This &That
Story given by Jagadeesh Bagli is very old tale and coming to his screenplay even a kid can guess what will be the next scene in the movie. Cinematography looked Ok with some good visuals. Music director Chinni Krishna songs sounded like the tunes have been taken from Tollywood, Bollywood hit songs, other than title track rest sounded copied and there is nothing to talk about his bgm. Editor should have done his job taking some care, there are many unwanted scenes in second half which can be removed.

What about its box office prospects?
Without any doubt this flick will not click in A centers or in B, C centers. There is lack of entertainment to attract multiplex audience and there is nothing to pull mass audiences into cinema hall. Even when it gets aired on Tv I doubt people would watch it.
