What is “Anthaka Mundu Aa Tarvatha” about?
Anil (Sumanth) is a young MBA graduate who falls in love with Ananya (Eesha), a card designer in a gift store. Yesteryear actress Madhubala is Ananya’s mother who advocates her against love marriage due to her bitter past experiences. Later Anil and Ananya decides to live together before marriage to know the problems in love marriage. What happens next? How they battle against the difficulties they face froms the rest of the story.
How is Sumanth Ashwin?
Sumanth Ashwin had shown good improvement from his first movie. He improved a bit in emoting and expressions. Also he is perfectly able to carry out his energy in to the character. Certainly promising find for Tollywood.
How is Mohana Krishna Indraganti’s direction?
As in every movie of his, Indraganti comes up with a strong story line. Every one will identify themselves with the story at some point or other. He faltered a bit in narrating it perfectly. He also deviated from the main story for some time in the second half. However, the overall effect on the audience is still good.
What about Madhubala’s reentry?
The yesteryear charm still seem to be on Madhubala. She is serene and pleasing. And she carried out the role gracefully.
What about Eesha, Rao Ramesh, Rohini, Thagubothu Ramesh and others ?
Eesha looked pretty and her acting is decent enough. Senior actors Rao Ramesh and Rohini lived up to their stature. Their performance added lot of the value to the characters. Avasarala Srinivas is good as hero’s friend. Thaguboth Ramesh (as Super market owner) and Ravi Babu managed few laughs.
How is Music, Songs, Dances other departments?
Kalyani Koduri’s music is a big asset to the movie. His back ground score is soulful and some excellent penning by Siri Vennela and Ananth Sriram enhanced the beauty of the music. PG Vrinda’s cinematography is scenic. Songs do not have much scope for dances. Editing could have been better in the second half. Production values are good.

What about its box office prospects?
Barring the problems in the screenplay and slight deviations from the story in the second half, Anthaku Mundhu Aa Tharuvatha is a good film with a cute love story and emphasis on the value of family relations. Its a good watch in this season.
