What Is the Film About?
Amma Rajyamlo Kadapa Biddalu is a fictitious story of how Babu Garu (Chandrababu Naidu) plot to dethrone the current Chief Minister Jagannadha Reddy (YS Jagan Mohan Reddy) and make his incapable son, Chinababu (Lokesh) as the Chief Minister. Babu’s close aide Dayaneni Rama (Devineni Uma) himself gets killed in the plan to defame the Government. Who ordered his murder? What consequences does it lead to? forms the rest.
How Are Performance?
The only good thing about the movie is that Ram Gopal Varma managed to bring in artists who have a resemblance to the real-life characters. He also kept their names closer to their real names. Ajmal Ameer is good as Jagan but he has barely anything to do in the film except for the one Assembly scene. The rest of the characters served the purpose of Ram Gopal Varma’s Propaganda. Ali is seen as Speaker Tammineni, probably the only notable actor in the film. Brahmanandham deserves a special mention for doing a role which is the most stupid among all the films he did so far. There are cameos by Sakshi Anchor Swapna and Kathi Mahesh. They are simply clueless.
Direction by Siddharth Thatholu?
Siddhartha Thatholu is credited as the director but it is Ram Gopal Varma‘s Paithyam written all over the film. The basic point is that Ram Gopal Varma wants to showcase Chandrababu and Lokesh in poor light which he successfully did. There are no sequences of Jagan which would make Jagan fans happy.
In his horrible imagination, Ramu killed Devineni Uma and portrayed Vangaveeti Radha as a Goonda. Lokesh is showcased in an extremely disgusting manner and Ramu stooped to the level of showing his wife, Brahmani in poor light. Next on his hit-list are Pawan Kalyan and KA Paul who is also mocked ruthlessly. Even the fictitious story is not executed well, the story moves from one sequence to the other without any reason and characters come and go. The opening scenes of the first half are devoted to humiliate Chandrababu and Lokesh. Later, the sequences of KA Paul and Pawan Kalyan are added. The imagination of Ram Gopal Varma starts with Devineni Uma’s murder. While we expect some mercy in the second half, it gives us a headache. Internet trolls and meme-creators do a better job than Ram Gopal Varma.
Music and Other Departments?
Ravi Shankar’s music has been poor while the background score is too loud at places. Sirasri penned the lyrics which are amateurish. Ram Gopal Varma’s mark is clearly shown in the weird camera angles. The Production Values are okay as the residence of Chandrababu and Jagan are shown lavish. Editing is a sham. Even a two-hour-long film feels like watching a three-hour movie.

Ram Gopal Varma should have given a series of interviews bad-mouthing Chandrababu and Lokesh. To stoop to the level of bad portrayals and bringing families into the Propaganda is disgusting and totally unwarranted of once a legendary director like Ram Gopal Varma. Keeping aside the propaganda, what is more, disappointing is Ramu could not execute a film properly. Tiktok Video Makers, Political Meme Creators do a better job these days.
