What is “Adda” about?
Adda is the story of Abhi (Sushanth), a fun loving lad who is an expert in creating rifts between lovers. One fine day, Priya (Shanvi), a fashion designer and daughter of a local goon, Shankar Patel (Nagineedu) approaches him and requests his help. In the process of fulfilling her task, Abhi falls for her and tries to impress. Rest of the story is all about how their story gets a ‘good’ ending.
How is Sushanth??
Nothing seem to be going in Sushanth’s way even after taking a 2 year break. His acting is far from any improvement. He tried to dance a bit but the absence of grace ruined the effort. He also did not seem to be at ease in fights too.
How is Sai Karthik’s direction?
The new comer Sai Karthik had faltered in direction. He could not perfectly weave the movie. The script work seems to be good but the screenplay is patchy. The entire execution of the project seems to be a failure. The coordination between various departments of the movie is totally missing. He better join as Assistant director once again and gets back his basics right.
What about Shanvi, Raghu Babu, Thagubothu Ramesh and others ?
Shanvi came up with a decent performance in the movie. She has improved from her first movie, Lovely. She also proved her dancing mettle in the Pub song and had to further work on her expressions to make a good career here. Raghu Babu’s comedy track with a pug got good applause in the theaters. The gay comedy between Josh Ravi and Thagubothu Ramesh looked odd and vulgar. Potentially good actors like Kota, Dev Gill, and Nagineedu are wasted
What about Shwetha Bhardwaj’s item number?
Shwetha Bhardwaj set the screen on fire with her vulturous curves and oomph. Her hot dances and moves in the Hay Oolala song will enthrall the masses.
How is Music, Songs, Dances other departments?
The songs in the album seem to be good and they are neatly pictured in good locations. Sushanth had put in good efforts in dances but they did not look graceful on screen. Fights are very badly composed of artificiality all over. The cinematography is good and editing could have been a lot better.

What about its box office prospects?
Adda is Sushanth’s comeback movie after 2 years of exile. Despite the political turmoil in the state, the movie recorded biggest opening ever for a Sushanth starer as politicians seem to be busy in Independence day celebrations but at the end, the product which matters the most is not all well. As a result, the movie can not sustain the initial push and is most likely to end up as one more disappointment for Sushanth.
