Congress party had sought a helping hand from its old friend, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the crucial by-election in Warangal Lok Sabha segment. Congress had announced Siricilla Rajaiah as its candidate and sought the help of communists, YSR Congress and Telangana JAC in the elections to fight the government.
We already know communists have announced Gaali Vinod kumar as their candidate and started campaigning too. On the other side, YSR Congress already announced it will put up a candidate for the by-election. Supporting Congress may trouble YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh so it may not do that risk now.
On the other side, Siricilla Rajaiah won Warangal Lok Sabha segment in 2009 elections but lost to TRS candidate, Kadiyam Srihari by a huge margin. Given that Vivek is not in favour of contesting, Congress had to resort to Rajaiah in this election which will happen on November 21st and results will be out on 24th of November.
