The main opposition party in Andhra Pradesh, YSR Congress is in no mood of contesting elections. The party which is yet to recover from the wounds of recent elections has sent a proposal to the ruling party over the upcoming bi-elections in the state. YSR Congress asked TDP to make sure they get Allagadda unanimously and they will ensure that TDP wins Nandigama with out competition.

There is also a defection complaint pending with Lok Sabha Speaker on SPY Reddy YSRCP Kurnool MP. The party has stated that they will ensure a contest there since it is going to be a prestigious seat for both the parties. However Chandra Babu did not yet take a decision on this. In general, under normal circumstances, ruling parties win the bi-elections. The elections for Allagadda and Nandigama will have to take place in the next 4 months.
