Few YSR Congress MLAs and MPs who are waiting for the right time to shift in to the ruling party, Telugu Desam have devised a new term to escape the defection law. While they have to resign to their post and go for reelection in case of defections, YSR Congress members are having ‘Working Relationship’ with TDP while continuing their membership in YSR Congress.
Nandyala MP SPY Reddy is already working on the lines of TDP party with out resigning. Kurnool MP Butta Renuka and Araku MP Kottapalli Geetha of the YSRC will soon come out of the party and do the same. TDP sources say at least 20 MLAs of YSR Congress are keen to follow this Working Relationship. TDP MP CM Ramesh is already in talks with them. On the other side, YSR Congress is also not pursuing the disqualification applications seriously as the party itself is not ready to face bi-elections after its fresh defeat in the recently concluded elections.
