YSRCP MLA's Irresponsible Behaviour Spikes Corona Cases in Chittoor DistrictAccording to a Report in Republic TV, A Tractor Rally organized by YSRCP MLA Madhusudhan Reddy on April 11th resulted in a huge spike in the Corona cases of Chittoor district. The MLA defied the Lockdown Rules for the Rally. It was widely criticized in Social Media but the Government took no action.

So far, 53 cases were registered from Chittoor district and 23 of them are from Madhusudhan Reddy’s Srikakulam constituency. The report said eleven Government officials who have participated in the rally were tested positive for the contagious virus.

Several other officials were sent to Quarantine hampering the administration in the district at this crucial juncture. There are similar instances wherein YSR Congress leaders are defying the Lockdown and Social-Distancing norms in the name of Corona Charities etc.

Thirty-five new cases and two deaths were reported in the past 24 hours in the state. That takes the total cases to 757. Both the deaths were from the Guntur district. Kurnool has the highest number of cases in the state, with 184 cases, followed by Guntur with 158 cases.
