Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya Grand Pre-release event happened in Vishakapatnam earlier this week. A huge crowd attended the meeting giving Josh to the Megastar and the movie unit.
Chiranjeevi announced that he bought land recently and will build a vacation home there. He even told that he would like to settle in Vishakapatnam.
Whenever a star visits some town or city outside Hyderabad, it is natural to say something good about the place.
Chiranjeevi may be genuinely interested to settle in the beach city but YSR Congress media has started using this to their benefit.
They are writing stories saying – “Now that Chiranjeevi himself has declared that he would settle down in Viskhapatnam, it would be a big boost to the ruling YSRCP and it can expect the support from the mega fans!”
This is outright silly theory. Chiranjeevi stays in Hyderabad that does not mean Mega Fans have all supported Telangana movement.
Political leanings are different from film fanism. We have seen that in 2009 and 2019.
To trouble Waltair Veerayya Pre-release event and later using Chiranjeevi for their political propaganda, it is only possible for YSR Congress and its media.
