Group politics is plaguing the YSR Congress party across all the districts of Andhra Pradesh.
It is known that on the 24th of this month in Kovelakuntla, Kurnool district, Gaddam Nageswara Reddy belonging to the YSR Congress was attacked with sticks by another group of members of the same party.
SI Maulani said on Tuesday that the police have registered a case against 25 people.
The Sub-inspector said that fifteen of the accused in connection with this case were arrested on Monday midnight and produced in the Allagadda court and remanded.
Among those arrested, the Presidents of Kovelakuntla society were also present.
Also, it is to be noted that the victim and all the accused arrested so far belong to the same Reddy community.
The party high command is turning a blind eye to such issues assuming that the popularity of the schemes will bulldoze everything and bring the party to power once again in 2024.
