Powerstar Pawan Kalyan‘s Bheemla Nayak has faced never-before vendetta politics in Andhra Pradesh and has also lost a good amount of revenue due to it. Now, a YSR Congress leader filed a case on the movie in Guntur saying it has hurt their community’s sentiments.
Mandepudi Purushottam, chairman of Shalivahana Kummari Corporation lodged a complaint with the Guntur Urban Superintendent of Police. He alleged that in one scene in the movie, Rana Daggubati kicks and destroys a pottery wheel.
The sentiments of the Kummari community (potters) were hurt by that scene, he informed. He demanded immediate removal of the scene from the movie and also an unconditional apology from the tea, So, Purushottam complained that the scene should be removed from the film.
Meanwhile, Bheemla Nayak has recovered 65% of its target (108 Crore Share) in its first-weekend run. If not for the issues in AP, the recovery would have been even better.
