YSR Congress MPs have yet again protested in Lok Sabha today over the Special Status issue. They are continuing their fight even as TDP MPs have given a short break after Prime Minister’s assurance to solve the issue very soon. However, YSR Congress is in no mood to relent on the issue.
YSR Congress sees the issue as a lifeline to turn the fortunes in their favor in Andhra Pradesh. They wanted to send a message that they are keen on the state related issues than TDP using this issue. Jagan wants his MPs to get suspended from Lok Sabha so as to squeeze maximum mileage from the issue.
YSR Congress MPs are planning to disrupt the proceedings of Lok Sabha as the crucial GST Bill is coming. Since it is a vital issue, the government will for sure suspend they expect. BJP is waiting on that until now since it will send a wrong signal to AP people. GST Bill has got some amendments in Rajya Sabha and those amendments have to be cleared in Lok Sabha now.
