YSR Congress Party had released the first list of its MLA and MP candidates. The mega list contained 170 MLA and 24 Lok Sabha candidates which means the party had confirmed 99% of all its candidates. Highlight of the list if YS Vijayamma contesting from Vishakapatnma Parliament and YV Subba Reddy, Jagan’s uncle will be in fray from Ongole Parliament. Where as Jagan’s sister Sharmila did not feature in the list of MLAs or MPs. YS Avinash Reddy, cousin of Jagan is named for Kadapa Parliament seat.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister candidate of the YSR Congress is contesting Pulivendula Assembly. This is the first time he is contesting Assembly elections. The MLA list do not have any surprises. Bhuma Nagireddy (Nandyala), Shoba Nagireddy (Allagadda), Dharmana Prasada Rao (Srikakulam), Tammineni Sita Ram (Amudalavalasa), Dhadi Ratnakar (Vishaka West), Chengala Venkatrao (Payakaraopeta), Jyothula Nehru (Jaggampeta), Kothapali Subba Raidu (Narasapuram), Kodali Nani (Gudivada), Vangaveeti Radha (Vijayawada East), Ambati Rambabu (Sattenapalli), Kapu Rama Chandra Reddy (Rayadurgam), Amarnath Reddy (Palamaneru) and Roja (Nagari) are prominent names in the list.
