Peddireddy-Ramachandra-ReddyMinister Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy is the Number Two in Jagan Government and had vowed to defeat Chandrababu Naidu in Kuppam. But Peddireddy himself faced protests by own party cadre.

The dissident leaders of the party pointed out ‘Chappal’ to the convoy of the minister who was going to an extensive meeting of YSRCP in Penukonda of Sri Sathyasai district.

Dissident leaders gathered in large numbers at Srikrishna Devarayala Junction on National Highway 44 to complain to the minister about the local MLA, Shankar Narayana.

When the supporters of the MLA came to know about the matter, they arrived at the spot and protested. As a result, there was tension. The police reached there in large numbers and controlled both sides.

When the minister reached there, the dissident leaders suddenly blocked the minister’s convoy. This led to a fight between both groups. Dissent leaders showed ‘Chappal’ to the minister.

Earlier this week, Peddireddy faced protests in Hindupur as a group of YSR Congress protested at the minister for promoting MLC Iqbal as the party candidate despite no favorable conditions for him in the constituency.
