After strategic silence over YS Vivekananda Reddy’s Murder and his daughter Sunitha’s recent Press conference in Delhi, YSR Congress finally responded on the issue but at the same time has tried to divert the issue onto the Opposition Parties.
“YS Vivekananda Reddy’s Murder happened during TDP regime. Back then, there were allegations of the involvement of TDP leaders. Why is Pawan Kalyan not criticizing Telugu Desam Party on this issue?,” Minister Perni Nani questioned. Viveka’s daughter herself is suspecting the Murder to be a work of the Insiders.
It is funny how the Ruling Party is trying to divert the issue, the Opposition Parties supporters allege. Another Minister Kurasala Kannababu said the case has been already transferred to the CBI and the State Government has no role whatsoever from here. He even went on to say Sunitha expressed her displeasure on the CBI Investigation but not on the state government.
“If that is the case, why did Sakshi blackout the Pressmeet completely? Why did Jagan try to block the CBI inquiry in the High Court?,” the Opposition parties demand. It looks like this new strategy of YSR Congress on Viveka issue looks completely flawed. The earlier strategy of ignoring the issue as if nothing happened is much better, Political analysts say.
