Union Minister Ramdas Bandu Athawale hinted about YSR Congress joining the BJP-led NDA Government. Referring to the recent meeting between Jagan and Union Minister Amit Shah, he said NDA is going to get new allies very soon.
It may be reminded to our readers that the YSR Congress supported NDA’s farm bills unconditionally in the Parliament recently. Jagan was asked to come to Delhi and meet Amit Shah. So by connecting dots, there seems to be something going on behind the scenes.
Partners are leaving NDA one after the other. BJP already lost Telugu Desam Party, Shiv Sena, and Siromani Akali Dal very recently. It looks like the BJP is going to bring in new partners in their place. Meanwhile, there are rumors that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to expand his cabinet very soon.
It has to be seen if YSR Congress will take this risk offending its Minority Votebank.
