YSR Congress which pressed for having 15 days of Assembly Session created a ruckus in the house and ensured that the three days session is completely washed out without any discussion on the Special Status issue. Situations are so bad that YSR Congress MLAs did everything like trying to attack the marshalls, throwing papers at the Speaker, pulling out his mike, standing on the benches etc.
The session got wasted completely due to their ruckus. But now, YSR Congress is coming up with a strange argument. They say the government intentionally did not take up Roja issue in the house. Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao tabled her apology letter in the house and could not take members’ opinion on it.
It was YSR Congress which made sure that did not happen. But then they are foul crying about ensuring political vendetta. The next assembly session will happen only in December and by then, anyways Roja’s one-year suspension term will end. The government or the speaker can not take the decision on the suspension unless they consider the opinion of the house which will happen only when the house is functioning.
