All the opposition parties in AP unleashed an attack on TDP after it announced support to GST Bill in the parliament, they challenged Chandrababu to barter support for GST bill to Special Status for the state. While TDP maintained its stance clear on the issue, the opposition parties have taken an ‘U’ turn.
Congress, YSR Congress and Left Parties have voted in favour of the GST Bill last night and no one really tried to barter their support for the Special Status. No Party did even mention about that in the upper house the other day, revealing the hollowness in the statements they make in Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is likely to sit with Prime Minister Narendra Modi later today. He is going to invite the Prime Minister for Krishna Pushkaralu. The Special Status and other issues pertaining to the Reorganization Act are likely to come up for discussion in their meeting.
