We all know the animosity of YSR Congress leaders towards Amaravati and the farmers who sacrificed their lands for the capital. Jagan Mohan Reddy who used to tell even his house is in Amaravati and would develop the area brought the three capitals plan to crash the Amaravati dream.
But then, one YSR Congress MLA has surprised by expressing his solidarity to the farmers. The Padayatra of the farmers has reached Nellore. Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy greeted the farmers and told them to reach out to him in case they need something.
The MLA himself has gone to the function hall the farmers are staying taking them by surprise. Some of the farmers asked him to say ‘Jai Amaravati’ but he softly refused. “There are some problems. Please understand,” the MLA told them.
“This is the beginning of the change. YSR Congress leaders started realizing the impact of Amaravati movement. Three Capitals Bill withdrawal is also for the same reason,” the farmers say.
