YSR Congress MLA Booked in Scribe's Murder Case

The Murder of a journalist belonging to Andhrajyothy, Katha Satyanarayana in S Annavaram of Tuni Mandal, East Godavari on Tuesday has created a sensation of a sort. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has condemned the murder and termed it a barbaric act.

But then, the family members allege the hand of YSR Congress Tuni MLA, Dadisetti Raja. Peddapuram Police have registered a case on the MLA and five others. They are investigating the allegations. Locals say that there are differences between the journalist and the MLA as the latter is not happy with the negative news on him in the Newspaper.

Only the other day, there are news reports that the Chief Minister reportedly mentioned that Chandrababu Naidu alone is not the enemy for him but they will have to fight with Andhrajyothy, Eenadu, TV5, and other institutions. That reveals the animosity between the YSR Congress and a section of media, TDP alleges.

And on the other side, another journalist working with a vernacular daily was assaulted in Srikakulam. He was admitted to the hospital with bleeding injuries.
