The Land Pooling for Amaravati has reached the final stage. There are some bits and parcels of lands remained to be acquired. Since the farmers are not coming forward, the government is forced to go for Land Acquisition.
But Chandrababu is not in favor of invoking Land Acquisition and so CRDA officials are buying time with negotiations. In case the farmers do not agree their land will be declared as Green Belt. YSR Congress leaders in the leadership of Managalagiri MLA, RK are misleading the people on this front.
RK is promising the people to revoke the Green Belt once Jagan is in Power. But then, there are no instances in Independent India where a Green Belt is revoked except for Defence purposes. Even when governments tried that, Supreme Court interfered and stopped that.
There are instances where the courts did not allow Green Belt to be revoked even for National Highways. So, YSR Congress is just misleading the people. Green Belt areas according to the history are totally devoid of development. Gradually, those lands will not be useful for agriculture as well.
