YSR Congress Leaders Contradicting Jagan?A few days ago, the Volunteers appointed by the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Government took to roads demanding that their salaries be hiked. Back then, the Chief Minister wrote an open letter saying that Volunteer is not a job but an opportunity to serve the people.

The Chief Minister rejected the salary hike and only announced performance-based monetary awards once a year. On the other side, while the Chief Minister himself confirmed that Volunteers are not actually jobs but are service, YSR Congress leaders still claim that they are jobs.

TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy while campaigning in Tirupati claimed that Jagan Mohan Reddy gave 4.5 Lakh Jobs as soon as he came to power. Obviously, he is referring to the Volunteer appointments as jobs. That is the plight of the volunteers in AP.

When they fight for their rights, they are denied saying no hikes for service. When the Ruling Party wants credit, they become jobs.
