Looks like YSR Congress seem to be expecting Andhra Pradesh’s financial condition to go from bad to worse. Already there are concerns that Center is not helping the state as much as required. YSR Congress Ongole MP and Jagan’s uncle, YV Subba Reddy raised the issue of MNREGA funds in Lok Sabha today.
He complained to the center that the state government is diverting the funds of MNREGA to the construction of CC roads and programs like Neeru – Chettu. He went on to say CM Chandrababu Naidu is diverting and misusing MNREGA funds. He asked the center to intervene and rein the state government in this issue.
Andhra Pradesh government is struggling due to bad finances and insensitive Center. It is some how managing the finances with the available funds. This complaints is likely to give chance for Center to raise objections and cut down funds given to MNREGA as well which will further complicate things for the state. Opposition Party is being very irresponsible here.
