YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is in the middle of his 3000 Kilometers Padayatra seems to have announced his first candidate for 2019 elections. Jagan decided to filed Sridevi, wife of Narayana Reddy who was killed a few months ago in Pathikonda Constituency.
Deputy Chief Minister. KE Krishna Murthy is representing Pattikonda constituency. He is likely to retire from active politics by next elections and his son, KE Shyam will be contesting from this seat and Jagan seems to be banking on the sentiment factor here.
The early announcement will help Sridevi to work more in the constituency and unleash an elaborate campaign much ahead of the elections. In the last elections, KE Krishnamurthy won over his nearest rival belonging to YSR Congress with a whopping 16564 votes.
