YSR Congress is resorting to violence on the polling day. This culture is rampant in Kadapa district which is a forte of factionism and booth capturings. Jammalamadugu TDP candidate Rama Subba Reddy and held two TDP agents in captivity. Huge police forces are deployed.
Similarly Mydukuru TDP candidate Putta Sudhakar is attacked and car is damaged by YSR Congress activists. Looks like Kadapa is once again not heading towards free and fair elections. On the other side. Polling began this morning in Seema Andhra region. 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies are going to polls.
Going by the early morning trend Seemandhra is going to witness heavy polling percentage as 15% polling recorded by 9am in the morning.
