Razole is the only seat Janasena had managed to win in the 2019 elections. Rapaka Varaprasad who did not get YSR Congress in that election joined Janasena and won.
Immediately after the elections, he became close to the Ruling Party and has become a defacto MLA of the YSR Congress.
But then, Janasena still has a strong hold on the constituency despite no leadership. Pawan Kalyan Fans and party supporters are so angry with the MLA that they are vowing to defeat him at any cost.
Senior Politician from Razole, Bonthu Rajeshwara Rao met Pawan Kalyan in Hyderabad this week and will be joining the party in days to come.
Bonthu previously contested twice from the Razole constituency on a YSR Congress ticket but lost both times. He was the architect of the Rural Water Supply Project of Andhra Pradesh during YSR’s regime.
Bonthu is very close to YSR’s family and Jagan gave him a ticket twice on the recommendation of Vijayamma. Bonthu is not happy ever since Rapaka is moving close to YSR Congress.
TDP is completely inactive in this constituency and the competition is only between YSR Congress and Janasena.
