Watchman Rangaiah, who testified before Jammalamadugu Magistrate in YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case, made some interesting comments before the media. He revealed saying the names of three who had come to the residence of Viveka on the day of the murder.
“I did not say the fourth name because I did not see him in the past. He is very tall. One of the three threatened to kill me if I say their names and So, I was scared. I testified in court because the CBI officers assured me of my security. However, Rangaiah was dropped in Kadapa on Friday night giving him 1,500 Rupees. They did not provide him any security as promised earlier.
Meanwhile, Erra Gangireddy who is rumored to be the prime suspect in this case came before the media and said he has got nothing to do with the murder. “I never saw Rangaiah previously,” Gangireddy said. However, Rangaiah said to the media about knowing each other for many days. “We spoke many times in the past,” he said.
CBI officials are likely to go ahead with this statement and may even make a few arrests in the coming days.
